Summary of campaign style: Swashbuckling, Pirates, Adventure, Factions
Region Info/Pitch: Grab your tri-corner hats and get ready to fight some scurvy dogs! This campaign is a swashbuckling adventure in the region of the Karamore Islands. The islands are a major trading hub between the continents of the world. Alliances are always in question/changing. Coin rules all in the major islands and cities. The Trading guilds rule the land while the pirate and smugglers groups rule the seas. Recently, there have been tales of strange reports of Islands moving, the wreckage of large ships washing up on shores, buried treasures of the long-forgotten kingdom, sweet songs leading whole crews to mist and vanishing without a trace, and in the jungles on the mainland in the north. Pirates, smugglers, guildsmen, monsters, sea witches oh my! You decide how your group navigates the turbulent seas ahead!
Player Buy-in: You all are prisoners on a large prison ship being transferred by the Golden Clasp trading company when disaster strikes and you all need to band together to survive. Fair warning this will be a “hot start”. The first couple of levels will see you all get your own small ship/crew and meet some of the larger groups in the world and then really it is up to you all how you use this resource. You won’t necessarily be on the “heroic quest to save the kingdom” so the idea of making your own way and looking after yourself should be enough to get you out of bed.
For the website, this will be more of a job posting board, depending on which island you visit. I can also probably do some fun stuff in Sea of Thieves for this one.
